Jiffy-Pots are REAL peat pots molded from the highest quality sphagnum peat moss (70%) and wood fiber (30%). They offer the benefit of air pruning roots. Cell packs and clay and plastic pots force roots to spiral inside. Jiffy-Pots allow roots to grow through the pot walls. This exposure to air results in natural air pruning & the development of an extensive system of feeder roots inside the pot.
